Note that this march approached from two directions. ILWU Local 10 led a march from the west from their Union Hall on Northpoint east towards Pier 33.

Meanwhile, the IBU, ILWU Local 34, et. al. led a march from the south from Harry Bridges Plaza and the Ferry Building north to Pier 31.

Finally, this image clearly shows that far more than 600 attended, contradicting claims made by the SFPD.
